Part One: How Wishes Find Their Way
WishWishWish / Let It Be | Giving Wishes a Chance to Come True
I often think that some wishes may not be so far out of reach. They simply haven't met the right person yet.
Someone wants to learn a skill, go and see the sea, or try a way of life they've never known.
Somewhere on the other side of the world, someone happens to know where to begin, and is willing to lend a hand.
Both are there, yet neither knows the other exists.
That's how WishWishWish and Let It Be came about.
The first is for children, with their innocence and daring.
The second is for adults—because even after we grow up, we should have somewhere to keep the wishes that have yet to come true.
You can say what you'd like to do, and what you need to make it possible.
Those willing to help can say what they have to offer, too.
It doesn't have to be money.
It might be an answer, some time spent together, or a chance to show someone the way.
An exchange might even grow naturally out of this.
Someone is searching desperately for a chance to prove themselves; someone else wants to pause for a while, clear their mind, and wander.
Could we bring together what we each have to spare and what we're missing?
This isn't an exchange of equal value, much less a debt or a favour to repay.
It's simply giving each other a hand as our paths cross.
I hope Ai-xiong (AI) can help us cross language barriers, untangle all these threads, and find people who might be a good fit.
Then leave the choice to the people themselves.
I don't expect it to make every wish in the world come true.
But I hope that perhaps, just by getting to know one more person, something you thought would never happen in your lifetime might find its way into your life.
